Complex data management made easy and centralized

Aertssen Group is a leading Belgian company specialized in construction, logistics, and crane rental services.

The challenge

Aertssen Group, a leading player in construction, logistics, and crane & machine rental services, faced a significant challenge in managing the extensive and complex data associated with their extensive fleet of cranes and machinery. With data points ranging from operator permissions and machine specifications to fuel types and weight capacities, the volume of information put a lot of pressure on the ERP application.

Managing this data across different departments led to data maintenance issues with duplicate, incomplete or out-of-date data. This resulted in an increased risk of errors and made efficient planning, fleet maintenance and operational data exchange between departments more difficult.

The solution

To deal with these challenges, Aertssen Group implemented a Central Asset Management App by Qubix. This specialized application allowed them to consolidate all master data related to their cranes and machinery in a single, centralized platform. The application ensures seamless synchronization with various departments and integrations with other systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP, providing each with the precise information they need for planning, maintenance, and other critical functions.

By eliminating data duplication and maintaining up-to-date records in one place, the Central Asset Management App significantly improved data accuracy, streamlined maintenance processes, and reduced the risk of errors, leading to enhanced operational efficiency and reliability in Aertssen Group's fleet management.
