X2O, distributor of bathrooms and sanitary supplies, has several stores in Belgium and the Netherlands and has been a well known player in the bathroom landscape for years.
The challenge
The extensive assortment of X20 in combination with several stores and locations is a complex logistical organisation. In addition, a centrally controlled warehouse with several financial entities made it difficult to work in their previous custom developed system. X2O was forced to search for a more sophisticated software solution that could handle their growing market share and, consequently, growing administrative processing.
The solutions
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in combination with Distri+ forms the foundation of the new solution at X2O. Extended with a Single Logistics - Multi Finance setup to simplify financial transactions between organisations. This functionality also focuses heavily on user experience, which makes it unnecessary for the user to switch environments while processing the various transactions. Several integrations were implemented, such as a third party logistics partner(s) for processing the central stock, a POS system for the shops, EDI, etc. This thorough software provides a solid base for X2O's further growth in the future.
